Welcome to St Brigid’s Primary School!

We are a co-educational Catholic primary school, catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten (Three-Year-Old Kindy) to Year Six. Our students come from families with diverse backgrounds and occupations, with each family bringing their gifts and talents to our school community. We pride ourselves on being a very welcoming community and a true family school.

St Brigid’s Primary School is extremely fortunate to have a personable and dedicated staff, who strive to provide a holistic education for all students to help them grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually during their primary school journey. Our teachers and education assistants are dedicated, talented and wholeheartedly committed to creating stimulating, positive, nurturing environments. Our staff work collaboratively to help create a thriving, encouraging and healthy learning community.

Our school enjoys an excellent reputation withing the community and works in partnership with the St Brigid’s Parish. At our school, we strive to live our core values of Service, Courage, Peace and Acceptance through our words and actions.

We provide a positive and supportive environment for the students to grow as confident and independent learners as they strive for excellence in all they do. We value open and honest communication, as we work in partnership with parents and caregivers.

We value the meaningful integration of Digital Technologies, with banks of iPads in our junior classes and a 1:1 iPad program in Years 4-6. In addition to their classroom subjects, our students engage in Science, Physical Education, Music, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), and LOTE (Auslan). Evidence based whole-class literacy programs PreLit, InitaLit and Spelling Mastery, are complemented with MiniLit and MacqLit (small group intervention).
