Position details:

St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School is a double stream school catering for 480 students from Pre-Kindy to Year 6 located in Middle Swan. We are seeking a suitably qualified Early Childhood teacher to join our staff. This will be a full-time, ongoing position, commencing 01 January 2023. The successful applicant must be passionate about education, will live out their faith in their daily lives, be positive and bring their own energy and passion to an already dynamic staff. Selection Criteria: (if applicable) Applications are invited from enthusiastic and innovative Primary School educators with the following attributes:

• A strong identity with the Catholic faith. • Exhibit a friendly, open and approachable manner and be supportive of the Catholic Ethos.

• A commitment and understanding of inquiry based pedagogy (Walker Influenced).

• Differentiate the learning program to cater for individual differences.

• A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional growth and development.

• Proven ability to use data to effectively drive improvement and targeted learning with high expectations.

• Posess strong ICT skills and the ability to integrate digital technologies.

• Understand the importance of developing positive relationships and communicate in a positive and proactive manner with children, staff and parents.

• Demonstrates a sound understanding of the content and pedagogy necessary to teach and assess the Australian Curriculum, NQS, EYLF and ECE documents and Play Based Education.

• A team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues and parents and contribute to the good of the community.

Qualifications Required: (if applicable)

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education • Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic School (or working towards).

• Applicants must have a current registration as a teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of WA (TRBWA) to be eligible for appointment.
